    The hotels

The first is the Medplaya Bali which is located just 250m from the beach in Benalmedena, Costa del Sol. It’s also close to the Puerto Marina, the Tivoli amusement park and the La Paloma park, making it the perfect choice for a fun-filled holiday with plenty to do. The hotel itself has two swimming pools with lawn areas, bar service and large terraces with sun-loungers and sunshades. There is also a lawn area, playground and pool for children. Every room in the hotel has a balcony and air-conditioning and guests can enjoy a buffet-style restaurant and a couple of bars for snacks and drinks. Benalmadena is relaxed and friendly with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops plus a 9km of gloriously sandy beach… perfect! There really is something for everyone to enjoy, children and adults alike, and we’d recommend strolling around Puerto Marina as the sun goes down to see all of the super-yachts bobbing there.

The Medplaya Calypso is located in Salou, Costa Dorada. This hotel is again very close to the beach and activities such as the Port Aventura theme park and Aquapolis water park. Salou itself has beautiful golden beaches and shallow, clear water which is perfect for families to enjoy. It has a laid-back atmosphere making it a great destination for a relaxing holiday, with lots of shops to browse and a wide range of restaurants to dine in. In the evening, the tempo gets a little more upbeat with a great selection of bars and a few clubs too. The Medplaya Calypso has two swimming pools and a hydro-massage pool, a leisure area and two pools for children. Guests will stay in spacious air-conditioned rooms with balconies and can enjoy a buffet-style restauraunt and several snack bars.
