France

France

Ooh la la! Being just 20.7 miles across the English Channel, France is easily accessible by ferry, car, or plane.

Disneyland Paris

With Paris being a city bursting with culture, Disneyland Paris is a great alternative to flying all the way to Florida for Disney World with the kids. The children are going to experience their own magical world with the likes of Space Mountain in Discoveryland, Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland, and Thunder Mountain in Frontierland. Don’t forget they can meet all their favourite Disney characters too!

Brittany

If you and your family want to venture off somewhere that’s a tad cooler, Brittany is perfect – as temperatures through July and August stay at around the 18°C mark. There are a multitude of wonderful family outdoor activities to embark upon when in Brittany, including: the Océanopolis aquarium; the dinosaur park Parc de Préhistoire de Bretagne; the Zoo de Trégomeur; and the mystical Planétarium de Bretagne.

Choose from family-friendly Brittany resorts such as La Baule and Saint Malo, which are famed for their large beaches.

Greece

The beaches on the Southern coast have a variety of beautiful spots and watersport activities.

Crete

One of Greece’s largest islands, Crete is packed with magnificent mountains, amazing beaches and pretty villages. For a day of true relaxation with the kids, the stunning beach of Elafonisi is renowned for its white and pink sand and dazzling lagoon. An additional fun way of travelling about the Cretan towns is by boarding the Little Train Tours! The Little Train Tours run to and from Elounda to Agios Nikolaos.

Italy

Italy

Steeped in history, Italy has many family friendly activities to choose from that will let your kids’ imaginations run wild.

Rome

Rome brings ancient history to life, and your little ones can walk round Ancient Rome to see the ruins of the old Roman Empire! If you prefer, sit back and relax as you explore the city, there is a hop on hop off red bus so you can see Rome at leisure.

Venice

Although Venice may seem like a destination for adults, it’s also great for families! Take to the water on a water taxi to truly impress your children.
