With an array of entertainment and sports activities, you have lots to keep you busy on site but if you prefer to relax, you have the choice of two adult pools to soak up the rays. Family friendly? We’ve uncovered some insider tips on what to do around the hotel but also around the island. You really can’t beat local recommendations, so take a read of their suggestions below…

Where can we find the best beach?

VIK: The best beach is right next to the hotel with Playa Pocillos and Playa Grande being the best beaches of the area.

Where is your favourite restaurant nearby and why?

VIK: Vino+Lanzarote where you can find great local food, tapas and of course, good wine.

Can you point us to some great places to shop?

VIK: The sea promenade located just outside the hotel is full of stores and shops.

What is the one thing we must do in Lanzarote?

VIK: Visit the volcanoes at Timanfaya National Park. The Spanish National Parks authority have recently launched a free guided walk service (available in Spanish or English) along two routes in the park if you’re interested in exploring! A fun option would also be to take a Camel ride across the volcanic landscape.

What are your fondest memories of Lanzarote?

VIK: Driving to the fantastic beaches of Papagayo on the southern tip of the island.

What is your favourite feature about the hotel?

VIK: The hotel offers an amazing location facing the sea in the heart of the resort.

What’s the best way for tourists to embrace the local culture?

VIK: Going to Teguise craft market on Sunday mornings, which is about 25 minutes away from our hotel. We would also suggest doing a wine tasting guided tour in la geria area which is only a 15 minute drive away.

What makes your hotel a hero hotel?

VIK: Outstanding service and excellent food!
