    Changes to Turkish Visas

Holidaying to Turkey this year? Then we have some very important information to share with you…

If you’ve been to Turkey in the past or have friends that have, you may be aware that visitors to the country had to buy a visa on arrival. After the 10th April 2014 this will no longer be the case! All visitors arriving into Turkey after the 10th April 2014 must obtain an e-Visa online before travelling. Visas will not be available at the airport any more.

    Questions? We have the answers..

How much will the e-Visa cost?
Each e-Visa costs 20 USD and this has to be paid by credit or debit as part of the online application process. Every traveler must purchase a separate e-visa including children and infants (even when your children/infants are included in your passport).

What happens after I’ve applied online?
If your application is accepted you will be e-mailed a link; click the link, download your voucher, print it out and take it with you to Turkey.

How long before travelling do I need to apply for my e-Visa?
You need to apply for your visa at least 24 hours before departure. We’d recommend you apply a good few weeks in advance.

I’ve made a mistake on my e-Visa form – can it be amended and can I get a refund?
No, you will have to apply for a new e-Visa with the correct information on and pay the full price again. Refunds are only provided if applications are denied.

On the off chance my application is denied, what should I do?
You just need to visit your nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate and they will assist.

Is there anything else I need to know?
Yes, you have to make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months by the time you enter Turkey.

It’s really easy to apply, you just need to follow the below link:
