Bieber fever hits Dublin three months early
Justin Bieber’s upcoming performance in Dublin has caused a surge in searches for hotels in the Irish capital.
Alpharooms.com has seen a 637.5% rise in searches to Dublin hotels on the Bieber dates compared to the week before he arrives in the Emerald Isle.
Searches for hotels in Dublin during the One Direction tour in March have trebled on the previous week.
Dan Morley, Marketing Director at alpharooms.com said: “We tracked a spike in Dublin searches immediately after the Bieber dates were announced at Dublin’s O2 arena with hotels in the immediate vicinity selling out almost immediately for those dates. We always see surges in demand for popular artists but it seems Bieber Fever has taken Ireland by storm.”
“We expected the same sort of surge for 1D. However, despite Niall’s links with the country it isn’t driving hotel bookings in the same way.”
Alpharooms.com have reported twice the amount of bookings for Justin Bieber than One Direction and advise people to book early to get the best deals available and to avoid disappointment as the city quickly fills up.
